Robbie Rooney (PG Cert, BSc (Hons), MBAPO)
Specialist areas:- Orthotics & Biomechanics
Robbie has over 20 years clinical experience specifically in Orthotics and Biomechanics, and is currently the external examiner for Strathclyde University undergraduate programme in Prosthetics & Orthotics.
In his previous roles he has worked as a specialist advisor to the Scottish Govt around Orthotic service delivery within the NHS and worked in both the NHS and private clinic settings. He is currently the Orthotic consultant to Motherwel FC as well as other SPL and SFL clubs in the area.
Robbie worked in Leeds for 10 years before returning to Scotland in 2006. During his time in England he was lead clinician for the largest commercial Prosthetic & Orthotic clinical service in the UK
Chris Cox (BSc (Hons), MBAPO)
Specialist areas:- Orthotics & Biomechanics
Chris qualified with a 1st class Honours degree from Strathclyde University in Prosthetics & Orthotics. Chris is currently teaching fellow at Strathclyde University Prosthetics & orthotics undergraduate programme.
He is nationally and internationally recognised within biomechanics & orthotics community and is a trainer on the national MSK programme.
Chris has worked in The Treatment Hub since 2012 and also works in conjunction with other Orthotists and Podiatrists and foot and ankle surgeons.
Grant McLullich (BSc (Hons))
Specialist areas:- Sports Therapy, injury assessment and rehab
After qualifying in both Sports Therapy and Sport & Exercise Science, Grant gained experience in injury assessment, treatment and sports massage with a variety of football teams and running clubs.
In 2007 Grant established his own sports injury clinic and took up residence in the athelite shop in Hamilton, which then expanded to become The Treatment Hub in 2012
He treats people from a wide variety of sporting backgrounds and enjoys working with both individual clients and sports clubs. This includes elite Ironman athletes, Falkirk FC and recreational joggers from Jog Scotland.
Seanna Mcghee (Dip Pod, MChs)
Specialist areas:- Podiatry, routine foot care, medical pedicure and nail surgery
Seanna is one of our resident Podiatrists who deals with the full range of podiatric interventions. Seanna has a friendly, informal and professional approach to podiatry/Chiropody and has many regular customers, who absolutely love her cheery and always positive approach to her day.
Seanna has been developed her whole range of medical pedicure and cosmetic podiatry which has becom an ever increasingly popular part of our podiatry services
Louise Moore (BSc Hons, MChs)
Specialist areas:- Podiatry, routine foot care, orthotics & biomechanics, nail surgery
Louise qualified from Glasgow Caledonian
University with a 1st class honours degree in 2014. She has gained
extensive experience working within the NHS, private practice and
footwear retail across Ireland, Scotland and
Australia.
She continues to work as clinical educator within Glasgow Caledonian University and is responsible for podiatry undergraduate training at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
Adam El Shafei (BSc (hons))
Specialist areas:- Orthotics and biomechanics
Adam qualified with a 1st class honours degree in prosthetics & orthotics and has worked within the Treatment Hub as a student Orthotist before qualifying. Adam also works within the NHS working as an Orthotist as well as having his own private caseload within the clinic.
In his spare time, Adam is an international level competitior in Karate and often competes around the world.
